前置きが長くなったが、今回のレビューは今年再発となった高柳昌行『A Jazzy Profile of Jojo』。今回のテーマを聞いてパッと頭に浮かんだのがこのアルバムだった。現在ロサンゼルスで活動するギタリストのジェフ・パーカーが、昨年来日した際に影響を受けたギタリストとして高柳昌行の名前をあげていたことも付しておこう。

Marina Celeste is a singer and a song writter, merly famous for her participation with the famous band Nouvelle Vague, wich met a huge succes in 2004. She did 3 solo albums which sold mainly in Europe and Japan. She prepares her new album now, Punky Lady'. " The sensual and sometimes eccentric delights of an escaped of Nouvelle Vague". Her head in the clouds, a pen or paintbrush in her hand, she has always written and composed her own songs, drawn and hummed her way through life. 近年、Thomas Carbouは数多くの国際的なアーティストとのコラボレーションを成功させてきた（フランス、スイス、ベルギー、スペイン、ベトナム、アメリカ、カナダなど）。2007年のBourse RIDEAUでは彼のアルバム「IN MOTION」がthe Ville de Québec's Creation/Residence Awardを受賞。数年後の2010年、Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette (Le Ring et Les Petits géants)監督のDenis Villeneuve氏にまつわるドキュメンタリー映画「Remembering the Ashes - Regards sur Incendies」のオリジナル曲も手掛けた。映画はBest cultural documentary部門においてGémeaux Awardを受賞。

Praised for his mastery of the eight string guitar, Thomas Carbou is a seasoned musician. With his undeniable taste for improvisation and his desire to surprise, the guitar player, composer, musical arranger, percussionist and sampler unveils a musical landscape without borders where cultures and styles merge smoothly. While combining elements that are often featured in jazz, electro, traditional, world, song, and folk music, Carbou takes us all around the world with his bold and pleasantly complex artistic proposal. Over the years, Thomas Carbou has successfully collaborated to numerous international artistic projects (in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Vietnam, the United States, Canada, etc.). He was also awarded the Ville de Québec's Creation/Residence Award, as part of the 2007 Bourse RIDEAU, for his album IN MOTION. Musician /Saxophone player /Art Creator Born in 1992 in Sapporo, Japan. he started playing saxophone when he was 7 years old. He attended Berklee 5 weeks program in 2007, 2008, 2009 as a full scholarship student and he was selected for Berklee Jazz workshop directed by Terri Lyne Carrington in 2015. Since he was awarded full scholarship Berklee College of Music, he has been Performing with greatest musicians, Terence Blanchard(tp), Dayna Stephens(sax), Terri Lyne Carrington(ds), Jamie Callum(vo, pf), Sean Jones(tp), Darren Barrett(tp), Bill Pierce(sax), Tiger Okoshi(tp) After he graduated from Berklee College of Music, he started his career in New York City. One of the his works, the NY based Japanese Band called "J-Squad" that presenting music for the Japanese TV show "Houdou Station" started. On the band, he is composing, playing the saxophone and coordinating the stage clothing that provided by TAKEO KIKUCHI. Also he started collaborating with different kinds of art such as fashion, architecture, painting, plant art, though his music. Especially, he is interested in collaborating with fashion and he has been working with the art magazine named "Metropolitan Society". As a crew of Metropolitan Society creative team, he was modeling/styling for collaboration with Engineered Garments and own project "Lonely Traveler". Also He started working as events producer. He was a member of "Jazz Summit Tokyo Summer Festival 2015'

レユニオン島出身。2011年からこの場所に住むフランス系イラン人アーティストArash KhalatbariことARASHKHAは最新アルバムの「A TRIBUTE TO THE DARK COME」のレコーディングを終えた。 この３枚目のソロアルバムは人々の類似性を賛辞し、アフリカンのルーツや人類の共通点をテーマにしている。 彼の友人であり、仲間でもあるCarmen RIZZOが今回ミックスを行った。プロデューサーはロスでその実力を認められており、EVOKEのアルバム（ARASHKHAは共同制作者）にも名を連ね、COLDPLAYのアルバムや、その他 ALANIS MORISSETTE、SEAL、SAKAMOTO、KHALED、NYAZも手掛けている。
